The SERVAL is a contemporary armored vehicle developed by Texelis and Nexter for the French military, following a 2020 request for a new multi-role platform. Weighing fifteen tons, it features advanced capabilities for versatility and effectiveness. While similar to the SCORPION vehicle, the SERVAL offers unique functionalities and is designed for mobility, protection, and adaptability across various missions.

SERVAL Armored Vehicle The SERVAL boasts a larger payload than the SCORPION while utilizing the same electronic core and SICS. It is intended to support the GRIFFON in combat, enhancing operational capabilities. In January 2021, France ordered 364 SERVAL vehicles as part of its military modernization efforts. Extensive testing is currently underway to ensure its operational readiness.
