9. Flip Flops
Ends in: six months
The average cost is $6.99.
You should get new flip-flops every six months at the absolute maximum. For a long time, doctors—from podiatrists to infectious disease specialists—have detested flip-flops. Flip-flops typically "expire" after six months (or sooner, if they are really inexpensive).

According to certain research, nobody should wear them at all. Two reporters were put to the test by the New York Daily News. For four days, the reporters lived in flip-flops. Staphylococcus aureus was discovered on the flip-flops after four days. The reporters would have probably become seriously infected with staph if they had sustained a cut on their foot.
10. Rubbing Alcohol
Ends in three years
Average Cost: $2.78 for 32 ounces
Once more, the effectiveness of cleaning products determines when they should expire. Alcohol rubbing does run out. Even if it's not opened, you should discard rubbing alcohol after three years at the latest. The alcohol in rubbing alcohol will degrade and evaporate if it is past its expiration date.

This will make the rubbing alcohol useless, which makes wounds and scrapes unsafe because they won't be cleaned. Even if your rubbing alcohol is past its expiration date, you can use it to deodorize odorous shoes, remove stickers, erase permanent markers, and remove stains from microfibers. Simply put, it shouldn't be used for medical conditions.
